Mr. Johnstone represented me in a matter where I was the respondent to a cross DVO application. A temporary order had been imposed against me in October 2023 based solely on an email exchange dating back to 2015.
Facing the possibility of an unjust DVO without concrete evidence was daunting, especially when unfamiliar with the legal process and its nuances. However, Mr. Johnstone swiftly took the reins upon understanding the intricacies of the case and the apparent lack of guidance since the initial mention in October 2023. His adept handling led to the dismissal of the application, providing immense relief.
While the outcome might have been anticipated given the lack of supporting evidence from the aggrieved party, I deeply value Mr Johnstone’s guidance and support throughout the brief hearing.
